Clowers, Tommy
Tommy Clowers - photo by J. Ryan Mahoney

You won’t find too many freestyle riders with one amateur national motocross championship—let alone 14—but that’s the career total for Tommy “Tomcat” Clowers.

Clowers is one of the most recognized names in freestyle motocross, and with good reason. The Yamaha rider has had a very lucrative career in X Games competition, which includes three gold medals in Step-Up. He also has numerous IFMA victories and freestyle video appearances. He even has his own video documenting his career, called Steppin’ Up, along with the distinction of being featured in two motocross video games.

Adding to his resume, Tommy is also featured in the Guinness Book of World Records for having the highest Step-Up jump, an astonishing 35 feet. He also has his own line of Tomcat apparel. For more information on this freestyle icon, check out www.tommyclowers.com.
