Given the nickname “Newbie” by his peers due to his relative inexperience in the world of IFMA freestyle, Canadian Jeff Fehr proved everyone wrong with a breakthrough season in 2005.
Showing that he’s a quick learner, Fehr became one of the first rookies to nail a backflip. He finished an impressive second in the IFMA series, a huge step for the 2003 Canadian FMX Champion. “It was a blast,” Fehr says. “I was really excited to finish second in my first full year doing IFMAs.”
He was able to score one main-event win along the way, which helped him earn respect from the veterans of the sport and the die-hard fans of freestyle motocross.
At 22 years of age, Jeff is one of the friendliest riders in the sport, but he has his mind set on one goal: “I want to be a good husband and dad and do as many crazy things on a dirt bike as I can!”
