Australian Dayne Kinnaird has been in the freestyle motocross world for quite some time, and his experience is worldwide. His father put him on a dirt bike before he could walk, and this head start on two wheels has paved the way for a very successful career. Dayne, who is sponsored by Boost Mobile, Zoo York, and the Metal Mulisha, has scored several victories in European events, along with IFMA events here in the States.
His other accomplishments include the 2003 IMXF World Championship in Europe, as well as a silver medal in the X Games.
“I want to nail the backflip and start working on variations,” Dayne says of his plans for this season, “and then I’m going to ride in the IFMAs, Dew Tour, and the X and Gravity Games.”
And what motivates Dayne to participate in this perilous sport? “The freedom of flying through the air and living on the edge is why I love freestyle.”
