Billy Walls has been riding motorcycles since he was 4 years old and has made quite a name for himself in freestyle competition. His favorite part of the IFMA tour is the travel, as these guys get to see every corner of the country on their way to venues across the United States. Walls gained notice after competing in the 2001 Summer X Games Step-Up contest, where he finished 10th in a field of 16 competitors; the highlight of his year was finishing fifth in the Vans Triple Crown of Freestyle Motocross. He has also appeared in various freestyle movies and magazines. He was featured in the February 2003 issue of MX Machine magazine, and on television at the Vans Triple Crown MX show in Phoenix, Arizona. His favorite trick is the Kiss of Death; as for the most difficult, he says, “Seat grabs took me forever, but once I learned them, I learned everything else right away.”
