FMX IS NO SMALL POTATOES IN IDAHO Okay, sorry but
I had to say it! Seriously though, the crowd here tonight was super loud and amped
up all night long. We had a multi-faceted show that saw another big win for Dustin
Nowak. He barely made it though and only did by half a point. He had to knock
Derek Burlew down and used a trio of backflip combos to get the job done. Burlew's
run was inspiring and maybe one of the his best this year. He got into the hot
seat by shutting down Graham Gustin who was first to go out and score a 91.8 and
could not be beat by Sean Neilsen or Brian Foster in the Maverick Adventures First
Stop FMX Final. The game of Moto Pig was played by all eight riders and Derek
Burlew took on all comers mimicing every trick thrown then shutting it down with
a wicked extended Lazyboy. We had the room in the Idaho Center to do a rider favorite--the
Torco Supermoto. Graham Gustin took the lead on the start of the five lap race
and had Greg Garrison hot on his rear wheel. Greg made a pass for the lead but
then fell on the last lap allowing Graham and Foster by. Foster made the last
turn move and took the win after a poor start. The world famous Hell On Wheels
BMX stunt team took the floor and the crowd by storm performing tricks only seen
on television. Keith Wineland did some amazing extreme moto trials and things
most of the crowd had never seen. If you couldn't make it tonight, there is always
tomorrow but time is running out so get your tickets now.
