It was an amazing night here in Greenville. In the opening rounds it was Johnny
Jones setting the standard early by postings a 90.75. It was the highest opening
score so far this year. That would mean all the other 8 riders would have to step
it up to make the Foothills Motor sports Finals. Making the FMX finals would be
Shawn Connors Greg Hartman, Jason Rowe, and Brody Wilson.
But before the
FMX Finals we would be blown away by Extreme MotoTrials legend, Geoff Aaron.
Geoff's major sponsor Red Bull was in the house and he was pressed to perform.
But being pressured was the least of his worried. He had his Gas Gas machine
dialed in and was Red Bulling all the way to the bank! He was a big hit and
at times during his run the crowd would come out of their seats to let him know
they were having a good time.
Coming back from
intermission with a bang Jennifer Schneider would rock the Bi-Lo Center with
an explosion that would send her 120 feet across the arena floor!
In the Wendy's
team competition it was the Jason Rowe and Greg Hartman stealing the show with
a score of 29. Almost a perfect score!
In the FMX Finals
it was Shawn Connor's coming out with a solid run. Being the "Redneck"
he was a crowd favorite here in Greenville. With a sterilizer at the end of
his run and crashing into the touch blocks the crowd was out of their seats.
He would score a solid 92.75. Next out Greg Hartman. He would kick things into
high gear and take the "Redneck" out of the hot seat with a 93.25.
Jason Rowe was all fired up and came out next shooting at the "Hitman"
Greg Hartman. In the end Jason would also post a 93.25 to create a tie and possible
jump off. But last out was the rider with the most wins this year. Brody Wilson
was ready to take aim, not at one, but two riders in the Hotseat. He would stick
all his usual sick tricks and even 2005 IFMA Champ "Trailer Trash"
Jeff Winstead was pumped as he watched Brody ride. Brody would no-hand land
a McMetz and stick a wicked Panic Attack! In the end he would score a 94.0 to
take yet another win! Way to go Brody (AKA:Hollywood). And to end the night
he would backflip his 110cc 4 times!

Night two of competition was out of control. The boys were all reved up! Making
the finals was Shawn Conners, Greg Hatman, Brody Wilson, and Jason Rowe. In the
Head to Head competition the field would be narrowed down to Shawan Conners and
Greg Hartman. Greg Hartman threw a big holy grab and the crowd went nutz. But
with a Shawn Conners sterilizer Greg would have to settle for a second place.
He has been looking for a win all year long, but if would have to wait. Next in
the Xtreme moto trials Geoff Aaron would blow the crowd away with his precision
trials skills. And after intermission is was a big ban once again with the Canon
Lady Jennifer Schneider. In the finals it was Shawn out first who would post a
solid 93.5! What a great run for being first out. Next out was Greg Hartman and
he would have the best run of his season. With all the big tricks including a
latter Heartattack he would take the hotseat with a 94.0. With the number rider
this season out next (Brody Wilson) Greg would sweat in the hotseat as "Hollywood"
would throw down hard! But with a missed trick it would cost him. Greg would hold
on. Last out was Jason Rowe and he would stick a usual perfect run. It would be
close but not enough to take out the "Hitman" Greg Hartman. Way to go
Greg on your first win of the year!
