Saturday 7:30PM -
The FMX Tour rolled into Biloxi Mississippi and put on a great show for all those
that had lost so much due to Hurricane Katrina in 05'. A special salute to all
those military personnel from the Keesler US Air Force base that were in attendance.
Beginning with the Team FMX, Cody Cavanaugh and Dan Newth were the first two riders
out and posted an 88.2, but that didn't last long, Because Thomas Alves, of Phoenix,
and Chris Birch, from across the pond, took the top spot with a 90.3 and "Bad
Boy" Billy Walls, and G-Rob fell short with an 87.9.
The top four qualifiers for the main event were Slade Waltman, Sean Nielson, Billy
Walls, and Thomas Alves. The first rider up Sean Nielson, he posted a 90.6, and
"Mr. Nasty", Slade Waltman was not able to knock him off the Hot Seat.
Billy Walls, sponsored by Sikspak, took over the lead throwing together a flawless
routine with a 91.3, but didn't do a backflip, however the next rider out, Thomas
Alves did four backflips with variables which gave him on the Overall win for
the night.
The Globe of death was another one of the featured events and for the first time
ever they put three motorcycles inside the Globe. May God Bless the Mississippi
Gulf Coast. Ricky Bobby says" If you ain't first your last", the results
for the evening are as follows
1. Thomas Alves 93.7
2. Billy Walls 91.3
3. Sean Nielson 90.6
4. Slade Waltman 90.1
